Eucalyptus grandis products were one of the most affected, producing a significant decrease in the demand with low prices. In the same period of time there was a strong increase in fuels and agrochemicals prices, which led to a significant fall in the economic profitability of forestry production. This paper evaluates, some of these relationships and their causes.
