    Exploración y análisis del grado de utilización de las TIC por los docentes de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial de la UTN-FRC

    This investigation is oriented to exploring and analyzing the level of utilization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by professors of Industrial Engineering; be it as a classroom resource and/or the application of technology that students and therefore future professionals need to use in the working market. Starting with a bibliographical assessment to substantiate theory, ICTs get defined, listing their advantages and disadvantages and their possible applications in the academic environment. The investigation continues to connect the theories that support teaching and learning procedures, focusing on Connectivism as the current and perhaps most appropriate for this project. The field study is then documented, featuring a compilation of first hand data with an analysis, tabulation and graphical representation of the investigation’s results. Finally, with the help of the body of work done by this study, conclusions are discussed, commenting on key facts and the level of utilization of ICTs within Industrial Engineering, also appending closing remarks proposing action plans that can improve the current state of their utilization.
