    El software como herramienta auxiliar en la gestión de riesgos en seguridad y salud ocupacional

    El artículo aborda la gestión del riesgo laboral a partir de un enfoque conceptual basado en la gestión del conocimiento y como este debe ser administrado en la organización para mejorar continuamente el proceso de gestión. Además, se hace hincapié en como las tecnologías de información y comunicación dan soporte a las organizaciones para gestionar la información que será transformada en conocimiento creando conectividad y con la cooperación de los miembros de la misma, haciendo uso de diferentes software y/o aplicaciones informáticas -algunas de las cuales son descriptas- que permitan minimizar los riesgos a través de la generación, sistematización, puesta en valor, actualización y la comunicación pertinente y efectiva del conocimiento adquirido.

    Inovation management and strategic impact

    The paper reviews contributions on concepts and models of innovation management in the context of empowerment processes of development and of organizations management, in relation to the increase of their capabilities and competences, explaining and analyzing the factors that tend to limit their performance. It analyzes the links and the role of actors in local and regional systems of innovation as well as the participation and cooperation of those involved in matters of innovation promotion, on account of the potential impact of innovation on the improvement of policies and tools in public and private management, in a social and organizational level. Finally, it makes contributions and conceptualizations about learning and knowledge management in relation to the processes of organizational and social strategic innovation.

    Reflexiones sobre las implicancias de la conciencia como un operador central en la gestión futura de C+T+i en el Estado y en otros actores del sistema

    Se explora y avanza en la indagación y sistematizan de reflexiones, opiniones y valoraciones –a modo de ensayo– sobre los operadores claves que inciden en la configuración de tendencias, estrategias y políticas en gestión de C+T+i. Se revisan aportes realizados en modelos, tecnologías, herramientas e instrumentos de política para la mejora del desempeño global en la gestión pública de C+T+i en Córdoba en el período 2000-2007 y posteriores. Finalmente, se analizan retrospectivamente algunas restricciones y/o limitaciones potenciales que se visualizan actualmente y se proponen lineamientos conducentes al rediseño y a la reconfiguración de estrategias y políticas de C+T+i basadas en la revisión de ciertos paradigmas, constructos y conceptos hoy sobrevalorados.

    Risk communication strategies and tools. a review

    Within the scope of occupational health and safety it must be emphasized that the main objective of systems regarding this topic is to prevent and control risks in the workplace and guarantee that the continuous improvement process minimizes them (OHSAS, 2007). To be able to accomplish these objectives, it is important to have the right tools, among them, the fundamental one is risk communication. The importance of communication within the context of risk management is given by the need to stregthen preventive mechanisms, the actions to carry out when the risk has been produced, as well as the activities to do after the fact has occurred giving it a differential and particular treatment according to the circumstances in which it happens (Gallego et al., 2006). The present article provides an outlook from communication conceptualization, how it influences risk management, the modelling of communication strategies and it gives information about the most important tools of risk communication in organizations. It is necessary to bear in mind that, through risk communication, risk knowledge increases and, according to the expressed by Beck (1998), risk also increases.

    Strategies for sustainable organizations: enciromental responsibility and eco-efficiency

    Environmental ethics has promoted reflections in different disciplines that, in short, try to accelerate a profound change that is required to move towards sustainable development; the change of the vision of man towards nature. The human being as part of a network of life cannot link up with other species from a sense of ownership, but recognizing their rights, rather, he must act responsibly for their development would be compatible with the survival of future generations. In this work is an approach to the concept of environmental liability which was introduced by the ethics of the environment is made. Then, the implication of environmental responsibility in companies as key actors in the development of countries is particularly reviewed. Main levels of environmentally responsible management that are presented in the consulted literature, are also presented in generic way, and finally some considerations of eco-efficiency are presented, one of the strategies of management that allows the company to be friendly with the environment and obtain economic benefits at the same time.
