In this article, we share an academic project whose purpose is to strengthen mathematics professors’ development. It took place at the National Technological University, Regional Haedo, Argentina. We work mainly with teachers of the first Mathematics subjects. We assume the challenge that teaching promotes the development of professional skills in future engineers. We describe here the work proposed to the teachers, frame it theoretically and offer data on the formation of the participants.
