Abstract
This paper presents the results obtained in the second stage of the project currently under development, which after having adjusted the procedure of an accelerated curing method, using boiling water. In this new stage, we continued working with CPC40 cement, and adopting as variables the concrete type, H20, H25, H30 and H35, keeping the cement and aggregates constant. For each concrete class, 8 series of 4 specimens each were tested. The characteristic strength was determined at time t and at 28 days, and the relationship between both values was calculated, plotting the characteristic curves and the adjustment equations for each type of concrete. Finally, the results obtained in the simple compression tests were related to those of the adjusted accelerated curing, establishing equations that allowed estimating the potential resistance at 28 days of the concrete, at the age of 24hs.
