    El presente informe detalla la experiencia teórica y práctica adquirida por el alumno Luca Padilla durante el período de pasantía realizada en la empresa Grandi y Asociados. Esta empresa se dedica al desarrollo y mantenimiento de sistemas informáticos integrales destinados a clientes de rubros varios, tales como hotelería, gastronomía, comercios y salud, centrándose en garantizar la seguridad y confianza basándose en tres principios: sostenibilidad, innovación y competitividad. Durante la práctica profesional, se realizaron tareas sobre el sistema full web, utilizando tecnologías tales como C# y su framework .NET, AngularJS y SQL SERVER. El alumno participó activamente en el desarrollo e implementación de funcionalidades, principalmente en dos módulos: uno de gestión de consultorios médicos, y uno de gestión de estaciones de servicios, asegurándose de cumplir con los objetivos y requisitos solicitados. La principal forma de organización para la realización de estas tareas se basó en la comprensión y desglose de “peticiones” realizadas por los profesionales a cargo del pasante, las cuales detallaban características y funcionalidades a implementar, necesarias para la mejora continua de los sistemas de gestión. Este informe detalla además el proceso de integración de Luca al ambiente laboral de la empresa, la comprensión de las tareas que allí se realizan y la obtención de experiencia a la hora de resolver problemas del mundo real. El alumno, con la ayuda de un excelente grupo de personas, tanto del lado profesional como el lado humano, logró una notable mejora en su capacidad para realizar desarrollos técnicos eficientes, demostrando un importante crecimiento personal y profesional.

    Este informe presenta la experiencia obtenida durante la práctica profesional realizada en ENERSA (Energía de Entre Ríos S.A.), empresa líder en distribución y comercialización de energía eléctrica en la provincia de Entre Ríos. La práctica se llevó a cabo en el área de Infraestructura IT, bajo la supervisión de Alejandro Engelberger, durante el período comprendido entre el 1 de diciembre de 2023 y el 1 de diciembre de 2024. La actividad principal fue la migración de System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) desde la versión 2012 SP1 a la versión 2022, un proyecto crítico dentro de la infraestructura de monitoreo de la empresa. SCOM es la herramienta que utiliza ENERSA para supervisar el estado y el rendimiento de más de 200 servidores Windows distribuidos en toda la provincia, lo que lo convierte en un componente esencial para la continuidad operativa del servicio eléctrico. A lo largo de este proceso se adquirieron competencias fundamentales en planificación de proyectos de infraestructura, seguridad informática, gestión de entornos productivos críticos, administración de servidores Windows Server y SQL Server, y ejecución de migraciones en ambientes donde cada decisión tiene impacto directo sobre los servicios que la empresa brinda a más de 400.000 usuarios en toda la provincia de Entre Ríos. La migración se ejecutó utilizando la estrategia de migración lado a lado (side-by-side), que permite mantener el entorno existente operativo mientras se construye y valida el nuevo, minimizando el riesgo de interrupción del servicio de monitoreo. El proyecto se completó exitosamente, cumpliendo con todos los objetivos planteados.

    Este informe detalla mi experiencia de práctica profesional en Petropack S.A., una empresa líder en el diseño y fabricación de soluciones de packaging en Argentina. Petropack se distingue por su inversión en tecnología de vanguardia, el desarrollo de procesos y productos innovadores, y su firme compromiso con la sustentabilidad. Durante mi práctica, que comenzó el 8 de julio de 2024, mis principales responsabilidades se centraron en la optimización de los sistemas de monitoreo de la empresa. Esto incluyó la búsqueda, prueba, modificación e implementación de software especializado para mejorar los procesos de monitoreo existentes. Los objetivos que me propuse para esta experiencia fueron: 1. Familiarizarme con el ambiente laboral en la empresa. 2. Adquirir nuevos conocimientos y habilidades en lenguajes de programación. 3. Aplicar los conocimientos teóricos adquiridos durante mi formación universitaria y ponerlo a prueba en un contexto práctico. A lo largo de mi práctica, pude desarrollar significativamente mi capacidad para resolver problemas y enfrentar adversidades. Mejoré mis habilidades de comunicación, especialmente en la interacción con mis superiores, y fortalecí mi temple para asumir responsabilidades profesionales. Esta experiencia en Petropack S.A. no solo me permitió cumplir con mis objetivos iniciales, sino que también me proporcionó una valiosa perspectiva sobre la importancia de la innovación y la sustentabilidad en la industria del packaging. La práctica ha sido fundamental para mi desarrollo profesional, preparándome para los desafíos futuros en mi carrera en el campo de la tecnología y la ingeniería.

    INFORME DE LA PRÁCTICA PROFESIONAL

    En este documento se presentarán los detalles de la experiencia obtenida a lo largo de los tres meses en los que la alumna, Milera Jacob Florencia, desarrolló la Práctica Profesional en el Ministerio Público Fiscal de Paraná, dentro del Poder Judicial de Entre Ríos, donde tuvo la oportunidad de poner a prueba los conceptos estudiados durante el cursado de la Tecnicatura Universitaria en Programación. Se expondrán aquí los objetivos de la Práctica, las funciones cumplidas y los conocimientos teóricos y prácticos adquiridos durante la misma; las diversas herramientas de desarrollo incorporadas y todas aquellas habilidades obtenidas o enriquecidas a través del trabajo realizado. En este sentido, se establecerá claramente la relación entre el aprendizaje académico y el profesional, para luego desembocar en las conclusiones formuladas al término de este maravilloso camino como estudiante y futura graduada.

    Impact of Energy Outages on Traffic Lights: Use of Back Up Solar Batteries

    Abstract— Nowadays, transport has come a long way in terms of innovation and versatility, and most people choose personal vehicles to move from one point to another in a city. In big cities this has become an issue due to the high density of traffic that is generated, which often results in traffic accidents. To solve this situation there are different types of signals; one of them being traffic lights. However, this system is not perfect, as these lights can stop working due to numerous situations, one of them being power outages. The purpose of this project is to describe the importance of the problem of energy outages in traffic lights and analyse backup solar batteries as a main solution. To achieve this, the project is organized as follow. First, a description of the consequences of power outages in cities. Secondly, solar backup batteries are studied as a solution. Finally, the weaknesses and strengths of backup solar batteries are analysed. This project is expected to take advantage of the existing sustainable energy technologies, while at the same time, contributing to the transition to clean and sustainable energy.

    School Infrastructure Conditions: Analysis of Adaptations to Create Safe Learning Spaces in São Paulo State-Run Schools

    Abstract— The infrastructure of state-run schools around the world presents several problems that affect even schools in main cities such as São Paulo in Brazil. This is a global issue that have been discussed in the global framework of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal #4, which promotes safe, inclusive and effective learning environments. To contribute to this goal, a checklist is going to be applied to a state-run school along this paper. This checklist allows planning progressive improvements that upgrade the quality of education, and it promotes more inclusive and safer environments. The selected school, which is in a low-income household area of São Paulo, is a representative example for analysing improvement opportunities. The purpose of this paper is, therefore, to analyse the infrastructure of the selected school to determine what needs to be changed to remodel the space and turn it into a safe, inclusive and safe learning environment. To fulfil this purpose, this paper is organized as follows. First, the current infrastructure deficiencies in São Paulo state-run schools are going to be described. In the second place, strategies and a checklist-based method to analyse school infrastructure are going to be discussed. Finally, the viability assessment of the infrastructure improvement and impact on students’ education are going to be described. This paper is expected to contribute to providing a model of comparison for future school renovations and improvements that aim to develop infrastructure in line with inclusive and safe learning environments.

    Urban Flooding in Bahia Blanca: Implementation of Stormwater Detention Systems

    Abstract— Urban flooding is a serious problem in many cities around the world which causes damage to homes, streets and transport and affects people’s lives. Climate change has made extreme weather events more frequent and intense, especially in urban areas with poor drainage systems and city growth without planning. A recent case in Bahia Blanca, Argentina, showed that the city was not ready to face flooding and needs better methods to manage rainwater. This paper argues that implementing stormwater detention systems is a key strategy to reduce the impact of urban flooding in Bahia Blanca. The purpose of this paper is to explain the causes of urban flooding in Bahia Blanca and to describe the implementation of stormwater detention systems as a solution to this issue. To achieve this purpose, the paper first defines the problem of urban flooding and describes the main causes and impacts, then it presents stormwater detention systems as a possible solution to reduce the effects of heavy rainfall, and finally it evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of this proposal and discusses how this strategy can help cities like Bahia Blanca become more resilient. This paper is expected to contribute to a better understanding of how urban flooding can be addressed through sustainable stormwater management, while also promoting awareness of the importance of improving drainage infrastructure and planning strategies to reduce the impact of extreme weather events.

    Natural Diversion of the Salado River to Prevent Flooding in Surrounding Areas: Implementation of Relief Branches

    Abstract— Floods are a recurring problem due to the advance of climate change. Santa Fe is one of the Argentinian cities most affected by these events at a social, economic and environmental level. After the great flood of 2003, Santa Fe has looked for a solution to the effects produced by heavy rain. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the strategy of implementing relief branches to provide more space for the Salado River course. To achieve this aim, this paper is organized as follows. In the first place, there is a description of the problem of flooding in surrounding areas from the Salado River. To shed light on this problem, the causes and the consequences of the floods are introduced. In the second place, the strategy of relief branches is presented. The last section aims to analyze and discuss the viability of their implementation in the city of Santa Fe. This paper is expected to contribute to the analysis of the flooding problem and to the promotion of the local implementation of foreign engineering projects that have provided sustainable solutions in other countries.

    Towards Sustainable E-waste Management in Latin America: Evaluation of Regional Initiatives for Environmentally Sound Solutions

    Abstract— The rapid growth in the consumption and disposal of electronic devices has led to a global increase in electronic waste, causing serious environmental and health problems when mismanagement. In Latin America, this issue is intensified by the lack of legal frameworks, limited recycling infrastructure, and low public awareness about to e-waste management. This paper analyses international and regional initiatives aimed at improving e-waste management and evaluates their applications in the continent. It focuses on three key strategies: implementing extended producer responsibility, developing robust legal al policy frameworks and reinforcing existing recycling systems to enhance efficiency. Each approach is assessed in terms of feasibility, strengths and limitations, considering the economic, political and social context in the region. This study contributes to raising awareness and promoting coordinated actions to mitigate e-waste mismanagement and support sustainable development in Latin America.

    Insufficient Urban Drainage Systems: Use of Permeable Pavement

    Abstract— Currently, many cities around the world must adapt to the increase in rainfall and face its consequences. In other words, urbanizations are not prepared to address heavy rain because they have insufficient drainage systems. To reverse the current situation, cities should comply with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11, which aims to the achievement of resilient cities. In this line, water-related disasters caused by urban floods might be reduced by using permeable pavement. This paper addresses the issue of insufficient urban drainage systems and proposes the use of permeable pavement as a possible solution. Its purpose is to analyze the insufficient urban drainage systems, along with their causes and consequences, and describe a possible solution to address the insufficient urban drainage systems. Therefore, this paper is organized as follows. First, it addresses the problem of insufficient urban drainage systems, its causes and consequences. Next, permeable pavement as well as its design, layers, and maintenance are addressed. Finally, it proposes some points about the viability and limitations of permeable pavement. This project is expected to contribute to the analysis of urban flood situations and suggests the use of permeable pavement.
