Abstract
El comportamiento de las excavaciones de obras civiles de mediana profundidad durante su construcción y su puesta en servicio depende de diversos factores, entre los que resaltan las condiciones geológicas y geotécnicas del entorno, y la calidad y disposición del agua subterránea.
Los suelos emplazados en el sector bajo estudio, corresponden a los denominados Sedimen- tos Postpampeanos, caracterizados por una aptitud de cimentación regular a mala, lo que se suma a un nivel freático elevado.
En este entorno, se evalúa la aptitud del método de hincado de tablestacas en relación al potencial de licuefacción de los Sedimentos Postpampeanos. Esta es una segunda evaluación en la que se han ampliado las caracterizaciones de suelos y se ha profundizado en que las acciones vibraciones interactúan con los mismos.
The medium depth excavations behavior in civil works during its construction and operation de- pends on several factors, among which geological and geotechnical conditions and groundwater position and quality are the most remarkable. Soils under the studied area are called Postpampeano Sediments, characterized by regular to bad foundation behavior, in addition with an elevated water table. In this environment, the aptitude of the sheet piles sinking method is assessed, regarding the liquefaction potential of Postpampeano Sediments. This is a second evaluation in which the soil characterizations have been extended and the vibrations actions have been deepened in interaction with them.
