Abstract
The energy sector represents the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions, worldwide, due to human activities linked to the burning of fossil fuels. It is for this reason that energy efficiency is beginning to be considered one of the main state policies for adaptation and mitigation of climate change. Within these policies, the training of technical resources that have the capacity to carry out energy efficiency projects aiming at the continuous improvement of organizations, buildings, industries or even the residential sector, is key. It is for this reason that from the Department of Industrial Engineering of the UTN Facultad Regional Buenos Aires (FRBA) of Universidad Tecnologica Nacional (UTN) will develop a Project for the investigation to determine the potential of implementation of Learning Networks in Energy Management Systems in Public Technical Schools that allows the training of students as agents of change in the matter of energy efficiency based on the analysis of energy performance of their own School. It will be established as an assumption that it is possible to reduce nominally the consumption of electricity and natural gas through energy saving measures that do not require investment in new technologies, in parallel with the training of students. Within the framework of the project, a series of activities will be carried out to analyze the proposed hypothesis, such as analysis and investigation of national and international antecedents, visits to Schools and the possibility of obtaining financing to implement a pilot test will be analyzed.
