Evaluación energética para asignación de costos en la producción de alimento balanceado

Abstract
En este trabajo, se presentan los resultados preliminares de una evaluación energética realizada sobre el consumo eléctrico de una planta de producción de alimento balanceado destinado a consumo vacuno. El objetivo principal del análisis realizado fue el de asignar consumos de energía eléctrica por unidad de peso para diferentes familias de productos, con la finalidad de prorratear los costos asociados. Las mediciones realizadas con un analizador de redes se cotejaron con los registros de producción, y se pudieron definir valores de consumo de energía en relación con el peso de producto procesado. Dicho consumo de energía se pudo desglosar entre las etapas de molienda y mezclado por un lado, y la de peletizado por el otro. El primer desafío para la realización del relevamiento es que se contaba con un solo instrumento para evaluar las dos acometidas independientes que alimentan sectores diferentes de la empresa, por lo cual se debieron hacer corridas en tiempo diferentes. El segundo desafío para analizar las mediciones fue que el sector de mezclado y molienda de la planta comparte alimentación con el área de acopio de la empresa, que es una unidad de negocios independiente, y que, por otro lado, el sector de peletizado comparte alimentación con la iluminación nocturna de todo el predio. A partir de los valores relevados, se pudo determinar una cantidad de energía eléctrica en kW·h imputable a cada tonelada de producto elaborado. Como trabajo a futuro, y por sugerencia de la empresa, se vislumbra la posibilidad de profundizar estas mediciones a fin de determinar la incidencia de cada componente de las mezclas en el consumo energético por peso unitario para cada familia de productos.
In this work, preliminary results are presented for an energy assessment performed on the electrical consumption in a balanced cattle feed production plant. The main objective of the assessment was to allocate electrical energy consumptions per weight unit for different product families in order to prorate the related costs. The measurements carried out with an energy analyzer meter were cross–checked with production records, and weight–referenced energy consumption values could thus be determined. Said energy consumption could be broken down into the milling and mixing stage, and the pelleting stage. The first challenge for this survey was the fact that a single measuring instrument was available for the assessment of two different supply connections feeding different sectors; therefore, measurements had to be run at different times. The second challenge, related to measurement analysis, was the fact that the milling and mixing sector shares the supply connection with a grain storage sector which is an independent business unit in the company; and the pelleting sector shares the supply connection with the night lighting system for the whole company property. Using the values measured, an amount of electrical energy in kW·h could be determined for each ton of different product families. As future work, and given company suggestions, there is a possibility to study these measurements in more detail so as to determine the incidence of each mixture component in the weight unit energy consumption for each product family.
