Abstract
Se diseña una planta piloto de recuperación de caucho a partir de neumáticos usados mediante la trituración de estos lo cual propone una solución al problema del desecho de los mismos en la región. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo y cuantitativo de la problemática que genera el no tratamiento adecuado de los neumáticos descartados, analizando datos a nivel nacional, provincial y municipal. Se analizaron las distintas alternativas existentes para el reciclaje de neumáticos a nivel mundial y se optó por la más conveniente teniendo en cuenta aspectos técnicos, económicos, sociales y ambientales. También se determinaron los productos que se obtienen luego del procesamiento de los neumáticos. Finalmente se realizó el diseño, el cálculo y la selección del equipamiento y las instalaciones necesarias para la planta.
A rubber recovery plant is designed from used tires by means of shredding them, which proposes is a solution to the problem of their disposal in the region. A qualitative and quantitative study of the problems generated by the non-adequate treatment of discarded tires was done, analysing data at the municipal, provincial, and national levels. The different alternatives for recycling tires worldwide were compared and the most convenient one was chosen considering technical, economic, social, and environmental aspects. The products obtained after the processing of the tires were also determined. Finally, the design, calculation and selection of the equipment and facilities necessary for the plant were carried out.
