Abstract
de 942.857 kg de fideos, equivalentes a aproximadamente 78.571 kg mensuales. Con precios de referencia de la competencia de $4.000 el envase de 500 g y $7.000 el envase de 1 kg. La inversión total en activos fijos asciende a USD 3.449.041,4, equivalente a aproximadamente $4.449.263.371,75, incluyendo infraestructura, maquinarias, muebles y luminaria. El proyecto se analiza con una TMAR del 25 %. Bajo financiamiento propio, los resultados muestran un VAN de $337.264.259,29, una TIR del 35 % y un período de recupero de 6 años;
The present project assesses the feasibility of creating Oryzea S.R.L., a company dedicated to the production and commercialization of flavored pasta made from rice flour, suitable for people with celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and consumers seeking healthier options. The plant will be located in the province of Buenos Aires, within the Pilar Industrial Park, taking advantage of its proximity to the main consumer centers and the national logistics network. The commercialization area covers Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Mendoza, Entre Ríos, City of Buenos Aires, and the C.A.B.A. The target market is estimated at 6.6 million potential consumers, including people with celiac disease, gluten intolerance and a segment of the general population without diagnosed conditions who would adopt the product. The project aims to supply 1.5% of that market, which implies an annual production of 942,857 kg of pasta, equivalent to approximately 78,571 kg per month, with competitors’ reference prices of $4,000 per 500 g pack and $7,000 per 1 kg pack. The total investment in fixed assets amounts to USD 3,449,041.4, equivalent to approximately $4,449,263,371.75, including infrastructure, machinery, furniture and lighting. The project is evaluated using a minimum acceptable rate of return (MARR) of 25%. Under self-financing, the results show a Net Present Value (NPV) of $337,264,259.29, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 35% and a payback period of 6 years; with third-party financing, equivalent to 60% of the investment through bank credit, the NPV is $71,719,574.03, the IRR is 40%, and the payback period remains the same. In both scenarios, the project is economically viable, creates value for the partners, and contributes to expanding the national supply of gluten-free foods, with a positive impact on formal employment and on the quality of life of the target population.
