Abstract
The article analyzes the energy utilization in the main building of Universidad Nacional de Rafaela in Argentina during a complete year from 01-May-2018 to 30-Apr-2019. The analysis comprises the energy consumed for the operation of the building as well as the energy produced by a grid-connected photovoltaic system. Firstly, an overview of the current legislation and public policies is introduced. Then, the energy consumed and the energy generated are characterized based on real data and the self sufficiency of renewable energy in the energy matrix of the educational building is quantified. Finally, the evolution of these energies along the year are compared against the estimation performed in a previous article.
