Abstract
In the current era in which technological change occurs exponentially, where new knowledge doubles every 12 days and is projected to do so every 12 hours by 2030; the social use of scientific and technological knowledge is the natural evolution to solve social and productive problems, developing at regional and local level virtuous circles of feedback between the demanders of knowledge and its producers. Within this framework, science and technology organizations are challenged to maximize the intellectual capital available knowledge, deploying the necessary actions so that scientific knowledge, together with information from stakeholders, is used collectively. This reflective writing presents an orientation, derived from the research carried out for the doctoral thesis " Proposal to Strengthen the Administrative Competencies of the Directors of the R&D Executing Units. The case of the UNLP - CONICET", to begin to manage scientific knowledge and achieve R&D projects with high impact uses, encouraging all members of the research centers to become aware of the systemic vision to transform the reality in which they are inserted.
