Abstract
La aplicación de simulaciones computacionales basadas en optimización topológica (OT) no paramétrica de los cuerpos o piezas, como reducción de peso o deformaciones, es un método numérico que ha captado el interés de ingenieros y científicos en los últimos años, pues permite la síntesis de estructuras o cuerpos con valores óptimos de uno o varios de sus parámetros físicos. En este trabajo se presenta una implementación de la técnica de OT aplicada al diseño de una carcasa de un generador eólico de eje vertical tipo Savonius para definir la forma geométrica en un escenario de cargas estáticas que varían su dirección durante las iteraciones del cálculo
The application of computational simulations based on non-parametric topological optimization (OT) of bodies or pieces, such as weight reduction or deformations, is a numerical method that has captured the interest of engineers and scientists in recent years, since it allows the synthesis of structures or bodies with optimum values of one or more of their physical parameters. This paper presents an implementation of the OT technique applied to the design of a Savonius type vertical axis wind generator casing to define the geometric shape in a scenario of static loads that vary their direction during the iterations of the calculation.
