Abstract
This project focuses on the development of a set of devices that allow telemonitoring and remote control of the drinking water cistern and pumping station in the city of Morteros (Córdoba), with the aim of improving operation and decision-making before emergencies. It is proposed to create an IoT ecosystem for remote reading of the inlet flow and tank level, adapting communications with existing equipment and with the PID controller that manages the pressurizing pumps. Additionally, include equipment and sensors capable of determining the magnitudes of inlet pressure, outlet flow, dosage and quantity of chlorine and alert water leaks in the pumping chambers below ground level. After several months of its implementation, a favorable conclusion can be stated since a better management of the plant and a reduction in failures were achieved
