Abstract
The demand for software developers is constantly increasing due to technological advancements. In addition, the software industry is one of the activities that generates the most employment and job opportunities. The following question challenges us: Why are there so few graduates? The proposed model seeks to rethink the essential components of the teaching-learning process, including the perspectives and demands of the interested parties. There is a need for a holistic quality concept that allows measuring and improving all the components involved. The model focuses on the basic and essential components and deals with knowing and satisfying those who participate in the teaching-learning process, as well as those who expect to hire graduates. With the instantiation of the model, a structure was defined that supports the interaction of students, teachers, companies/organizations, etc. creating links between the actors and the possibility of continually reviewing what has been learned.
