Abstract

The purpose of this work is to compare parameters of two types of antennas called Yagui-Uda and Helical, specifically around 137.5 Mhz. The characteristic parameters that would be expected to be compared in such antennas would be the radiation patterns, the gain of the antennas, the SWR and the front/back ratio, among others, in order to select the antenna that is best suited for receiving signals. at a satellite earth station. The simulation results obtained would show better performance for the Yagi-Uda antenna in general at frequencies close to 137.5 MHz, in addition to being easier to build due to its geometric shape
