Abstract
El presente artículo intenta una mirada al modelo tradicional utilizado para el cálculo del ciclo de trabajo de los motores de combustión interna de cuatro tiempos con encendido a chispa, a través de la caracterización del coeficiente politrópico en las transformaciones de compre- sión y expansión. Se trata aquí un método experimental para su obtención y su utilización como parámetro de diseño. Se ha priorizado la sustitución de los sensores tradicionales por sensores de bajo costo y uso industrial para obtener el diagrama abierto de las presiones sin tener en cuenta la fase de combustión.
This article presents an insight into the traditional model used to calculate the work cycle in four stroke internal combustion engines with spark ignition, through the characterization of the poly- tropic coefficient in compression and exhaust transformations. This work shows an experimental method in order to obtain and use this coefficient, as a designparameter. Priority has been given to replacing traditional sensors, with low cost ones commonly used in industry, to obtain the open diagram of the pressures without considering the combustion phase.
