Abstract
Se diseña una planta de peletizado de plástico a partir de residuos urbanos, con el objetivo de agregar valor al material previamente clasificado y contribuir a la economía circular.
Para ello, se realizó un estudio detallado de las tecnologías disponibles en cada etapa del proceso, seleccionando la más adecuada en función de la calidad del pellet obtenido, así como de los aspectos técnicos, operativos y económicos.
Finalmente, se llevó a cabo el diseño integral de la planta, incluyendo el cálculo de parámetros clave, la selección del equipamiento y la planificación de las instalaciones necesarias para su correcto funcionamiento.
A plastic pelletizing plant is designed using urban waste, aiming to add value to the previ-ously sorted material and contribute to the circular economy. To achieve this, a detailed study of the available technologies for each stage of the process was conducted, selecting the most suitable one based on pellet quality, as well as technical, operational, and economic criteria. Finally, the comprehensive design of the plant was developed, including key parameter cal-culations, equipment selection, and the planning of the necessary facilities for its proper op-eration.
