Abstract
Los enormes avances en materia de Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC), junto con el uso de
herramientas digitales aplicadas a la Inteligencia de Negocios (Business Intelligence), resultan hoy vitales para lograr
un desarrollo científico y tecnológico innovadores en el Sector Público, si se desea enmarcarlo en el actual proceso de
globalización. El objetivo de esta investigación, fue adaptar la metodología de Ralph Kimball para el desarrollo e
implementación de sistemas de información basados en Almacenes de datos (Data Warehouse) a fin de optimizar los
procesos de captura de datos, transformación y recuperación de información, así como también la transferencia de
resultados obtenidos con inmediatez. En este sentido, se analizaron diferentes metodologías, técnicas basadas en
Knowledge Discovery Databases (KDD) propuestas por Usama Fayyad, consistentes en procesos automáticos que
combinan el descubrimiento y análisis para extraer patrones útiles, válidos y veraces en agroecosistemas sostenibles.
Como resultados, se logró proponer las etapas de desarrollo e implementación de un sistema de información integrado
en un repositorio digital de cuencas hidrológicas, con interfaces de consulta para el acceso de usuarios e investigadores
expertos. Con dichos resultados, se espera contribuir a futuras investigaciones orientadas a la prospectiva y resiliencia
tecnológica en agroecosistemas.
The enormous advances in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), together with the use of digital tools applied to Business Intelligence (BI), are today vital to achieve innovative scientific and technological development in the Public Sector, if you want to frame it in the current process of globalization. The objective of this research was to adapt Ralph Kimball's methodology for the development and implementation of information systems (Data Warehouse) in order to optimize the processes of data capture, transformation and recovery of information, as well as the transfer of results obtained immediately. In this sense, different methodologies were analyzed, techniques based on Knowledge Discovery Databases (KDD) proposed by Usama Fayyad, consisting of automatic processes that combine discovery and analysis to extract useful, valid and truthful patterns in sustainable agroecosystems. As a result, it was possible to propose the stages of development and implementation of an information system integrated into a digital repository of hydrological basins, with consultation interfaces for access by users and expert researchers. With these results, it is expected to contribute to future research aimed at prospective and technological resilience in agroecosystems
