Abstract
El avance hacia una economía baja en carbono ha impulsado a nivel global la búsqueda de alternativas energéticas sostenibles que permitan reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero. En este contexto, el hidrógeno ha emergido como un vector energético estratégico, con alto potencial para descarbonizar sectores clave como la industria, el transporte y la generación eléctrica. La producción de hidrógeno mediante electrólisis se presenta como una solución viable en el marco de la transición energética. En este escenario, la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional – Facultad Regional Chubut, se propone fortalecer sus capacidades institucionales en investigación y formación a través del diseño de un laboratorio de producción de hidrógeno. Este proyecto final de carrera surge como respuesta a esa necesidad.
The transition toward a low-carbon economy has driven the global search for sustainable energy alternatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In this context, hydrogen has emerged as a strategic energy vector with high potential to decarbonize key sectors such as industry, transportation, and power generation. Hydrogen production through electrolysis is presented as a viable solution within the framework of the energy transition. In this scenario, the National Technological University – Chubut Regional Faculty aims to strengthen its institutional capacities in research and technical training through the design of a hydrogen production laboratory. This final undergraduate project arises in response to that need.
