Abstract
Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies have been identified as a tool to build and increase trust in collaborative business processes as well as to provide integrity, security, and transparency to data. Permissioned or private blockchains are more suitable for collaborative processes since the focus is on an efficient exchange of data and transaction execution. In this work, we propose a permissioned blockchain platform for the implementation and execution of collaborative processes, which is based on HyperLedger Fabric (HF). Smart contracts are defined and implemented on the blockchain platform for performing the validation of the messages sent by the organizations as part of the choreography of interactions
agreed on collaborative processes. The proposed platform enhances data privacy by using channels for the processes, and the proposed approach for smart contracts allows a blockchain completely decentralized for managing process instances of collaborative processes
