Item Future Engineering Leaders Scholarship (FELS)(2021-11-11) Balaudo, TomásThe Future Engineering Leaders Scholarship (FELS) is a joint effort from different countries to offer scholarships to undergraduate engineering students whose native language is other than English. It is an opportunity for students to take part in an immersion English program that aims at developing both the English language and skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, leadership and cultural awareness. The special characteristic about the FELS is that students apply for it in pairs or in groups of three. Since this scholarship is aimed at developing basic engineering skills, students are asked to develop a project based on an engineering topic to be pre-selected. Details about this project are provided below in the section “Project Proposal”. Although most of this form is completed individually, the section about the project has to be developed by all the members of the team together.Item Future Engineering Leaders Scholarship (FELS)(2021-11-08) Grandoli, Leonardo F.The Future Engineering Leaders Scholarship (FELS) is a joint effort from different countries to offer scholarships to undergraduate engineering students whose native language is other than English. A possible solution to this is using a relatively new technology called Floating Photovoltaics Systems. These systems have the capability to generate electricity from solar energy while sheltering the water they float on from the solar rays. This reduces water evaporation and algae growth, improves the water quality, and keeps the system passively cooled. This paper focuses on showing that technologies such as these are the future to take action against climate change effects on lakes and water reservoirs, and FPV is the main one to focus on at the moment, as it is the most effective oneItem Future Engineering Leaders Scholarship (FELS)(2021-11-20) Bustamante, Sol NoeliaThe Future Engineering Leaders Scholarship (FELS) is a joint effort from different countries to offer scholarships to undergraduate engineering students whose native language is other than English. This paper will discuss these projects, analyzing their results and looking at the possibilities of having nuclear fusion as a common source of energy in the next few yItem Virtual Reality Technologies: Analysis of their Application in Electronics Engineering Career Programs.(2021-12-02) Perissutti, Gianfranco Adriano; Ubiedo, Lautaro EzequielAbstract: Many problems have arisen in traditional electronics engineering education because of the Coronavirus lockdown. Although these problems have not been solved yet, this paper analyzes the use of virtual reality (VR) technologies as a possible teaching resource to solve them. Even though VR devices are relatively new in the field of teaching, this analysis makes use of numerous research projects, weighing up its positive effects and its drawbacks. Summarizing the results, it is clear that hybrid learning (by means of conventional and virtual reality systems) presents some advantages to traditional learning. However, more research has to be done in order to evince these new devices as an improvement in engineering education.Item Scholarship Application Project(2021-11-22) Glas, Sebastian R.; Molo, Nicolas E.This is an EFL academic activity carried out at UTN FRP. In an effort to develop the conformation, growth and transformation of these cities, those elements will be studied sequentially considering them as the basic foundations, continuing with the construction of the cities and, finally, their way of operating. In addition, this phenomenon will be studied in Latin America, in order to make comparisons and conclusions, but taking into account the economic and political contexts, and the variability in which the countries are involved. It will be possible to have, in this way, a rather important understanding of priorities, inequalities and aspects of specific cities or countries that are on the smart movement, either because they are smart or because they want to be smart
