Abstract
La reacción de esterificación de ácido succínico (AS) con etanol (EtOH) catalizada con Amberlyst
36 fue estudiada en un reactor batch. Se analizó la influencia sobre la reacción de los siguientes
parámetros: velocidad de agitación, carga de catalizador, temperatura y relación molar de reactivos. Se
evaluó también la actividad de otros cuatro catalizadores (ZrO2-SBA-15-H, CA, HPA/CA-10%, y
HPA/CA-20%) en la misma reacción y se los comparó con el blanco de reacción. Los catalizadores se
caracterizaron por fisisorción y acidez. Los resultados muestran que el catalizador ZrO2-SBA-15-H
permite obtener mayores conversiones y selectividades hacia el producto deseado (dietilsuccionato).
The esterification reaction of succinic acid (AS) with ethanol (EtOH) catalyzed with Amberlyst 36 (A36) was studied in a batch reactor. The influence on the reaction of the following parameters was analyzed: stirring speed, catalyst loading, temperature and molar ratio of reagents. The activity of three other catalysts (ZrO2-SBA-15-H, CA, HPA/CA-10%, and HPA/CA-20%) in the same reaction was also evaluated and compared with the reaction target. The catalysts were characterized by physisorption and acidity. The results show that the catalyst ZrO2-SBA-15-H allows to obtain higher conversions and selectivities towards the desired product (diethyl-succinate).
