Abstract
Los cambios sociopolíticos y económicos de las últimas décadas impactaron en la Universidad
generando transformaciones en su forma de organización y funcionamiento y produciendo un
replanteo de las tareas del docente universitario. El avance y transformación del conocimiento y su rápida obsolescencia, la heterogeneidad del alumnado en la educación superior y la
incorporación de las nuevas tecnologías, definen el escenario universitario y orientan a una
reflexión sobre los enfoques en la enseñanza universitaria. En este marco surge la necesidad
de propiciar prácticas de enseñanza orientadas a la crítica, la reflexión y la creatividad con
capacidad de autoaprendizaje.
The sociopolitical and economic changes of the last decades had an impact in university, gene- rating transformations in its organizational and operational structure and producing a reframing of the professor’s tasks. The advance and constant change of knowledge and its fast obsolescence, the heterogeneity of college and university students and the incorporation of the new technologies define the uni- versity scenario and lead to a reflection as far as educational approaches are concerned. Within this framework, the need to encourage educational practices oriented to criticism, reflection and creativity together with self- learning capacity arises.
