Abstract
El presente documento es un Proyecto Final realizado dentro del marco académico, con el objetivo de desarrollar un trabajo que permita integrar los conocimientos adquiridos durante el cursado de la carrera Ingeniería en Sistemas de Información.
Con tal motivo, se seleccionó una empresa para desarrollar un proyecto de organización formal. La elección como caso de estudio fue la Facultad Regional Concepción del Uruguay perteneciente a la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, situada en la República Argentina.
La misma se vio motivada debido a la complejidad y disponibilidad de la Facultad para colaborar con el desarrollo de todas las etapas necesarias para completar el proyecto.
El problema abordado fue el de la deserción y retraso de los alumnos en la finalización de su carrera según los plazos definidos en los planes de estudios de la misma. Se planteó su resolución en dos grandes etapas.
En la primer etapa, se realizó un relevamiento sobre la empresa: su organización, su objetivo, estructura, ejes de dinero y servicio.
Posteriormente se llevó a cabo el análisis de la función empresarial elegida generando el modelo descriptor de la realidad actual de la organización. El mismo incluye roles, unidades de trabajo y su respectivo modelo de datos.
En la segunda etapa del proyecto se llevó a cabo la definición del modelo solución. Se diseñaron nuevos procesos y procedimientos que al implementarlos cambiarán la realidad de la organización con objetivo en mejorar los aspectos identificados en la primer etapa.
The following document is a Final Project conducted within the academic frame, whose objective is to integrate all the knowledge acquired during the Information Systems Engineering career. Due to that reason, an enterprise was selected in order to develop an organization formal project. The chosen study case was the “Facultad Regional de Concepción del Uruguay” belonging to the National Technological University located in Argentina. That election was motivated by the complexity and well disposition from the University to collaborate with the development of all the stages needed to complete the project. The problematics addressed were desertion and students delay to finish their career according to the terms determined in the study programme. The resolutions were set out within two major stages. During the first stage, a survey was made about the enterprise: its organization, its purpose, structure, money and service axis. Subsequently, the analysis of the chosen business function was carried out generating the descriptor model of the current reality of the organization. It includes roles, work units and their respective data model. During the second stage of the project, the definition of the solution model was accomplished. New processes and procedures were designed, which once implemented, will change the reality of the organization. This new reality will improve the aspects identified during the first stage.
