Abstract
In this document, three problems were analyzed in Colón city, province of Entre Ríos, chosen from research. The first problem was the basin 135, located on southwest of the city. It presents flooding when intense rains and stagnation of water and erosion in particular areas of it. It was proposed an improvement of the surface runoff conditions, projecting a ditch, along with drains that lead to an underground conduit that evacuates the water to areas surrounding the La Leche stream. The second problem treated was the intersection between RN 130 and Primeros Colonos Street. It’s risky to use it because of it poor road conditions. To improve this intersection, it was projected a four-line Boulevard with one extra ways out, adding sidewalks on both sides. Finally, the third problem analyzed was the workshop and maintenance department, which has innumerable shortcomings, from poor organization to broken structures. It was projected a workshop and maintenance department consisting of three main buildings with a correct space for people a traffic movement. The solution aims to improve the daily life of public employees as well as the service provided to residents, considering the current and future needs of the city. The use of renewable energies, the use of rainwater and the use of all kinds of technologies that reduce the carbon footprint were pointed out.
