Abstract
El proceso de transformación digital que está teniendo lugar en el marco del fenómeno conocido como "la cuarta revolución industrial" impone un marcado cambio de paradigma a empresas e individuos.
El área de Capital Humano de las organizaciones enfrenta importantes desafíos a la hora de internalizar este nuevo paradigma, administrar el cambio cultural asociado y promover la generación de nuevas capacidades en la fuerza laboral.
El presente trabajo analiza los impactos de la transformación digital en el departamento de Capital Humano de una empresa multinacional de telecomunicaciones. En base a un estudio de caso se evalúan los resultados en términos de productividad laboral y aspectos económicos relacionados con el presupuesto asignado al área.
También se investigan los efectos de dicha transformación en la cultura de la organización y cuál es el rol de los mandos en este proceso.
Los resultados obtenidos son significativos en términos de la mejora que se consigue, tanto en tiempos como en la reducción de los recursos presupuestarios, lo que permite reasignar la fuerza laboral a otras tareas que generen mayor valor para el área y la organización.
El desafío está planteado y la transformación digital debiera ser un proceso que funcione como un faro para todas las organizaciones.
The digital transformation process that is taking place within the framework of the phenomenon known as "the fourth industrial revolution" imposes a marked paradigm shift on companies and individuals. The Human Capital area of organizations faces important challenges when it comes to internalizing this new paradigm, managing the associated cultural change and promoting the generation of new skills in the workforce. This paper analyzes the impacts of digital transformation in the Human Capital department of a multinational telecommunications company. Based on a case study, the results are evaluated in terms of labor productivity and economic aspects related to the budget assigned to the area. The effects of this transformation on the culture of the organization and the role of managers in this process are also investigated. The results obtained are significant in terms of the improvement achieved, both in time and in the reduction of budget resources, which allows the workforce to be reassigned to other tasks that generate greater value for the area and the organization. The challenge is raised and the digital transformation should be a process that works as a beacon for all organizations.
