Abstract
Given demographic and industrial growth, the technical capacity of a local electricity distributor will reach its limit in the near future. Giving as a result voltage drops and eventual interruptions of the service by overloads in summertime; and quality of service unfavorable to the customers. There is a need to generate energy in a way that solves the problem through a sustainable alternative. The engineering, calculation and budget of a solar photovoltaic power plant are therefore requested. Taking advantage of the fact that the highest consumption occurs in daytime and summer times, which coincide with the hours of greater availability of solar energy, photovoltaic technology will beused to save the peak of consumption that occurs at the times and times mentioned. In addition to the huge benefits of implementing renewable sources, the distributor will benefit because it will be able to buy less energy by reducing its turnover.
