Abstract
Los smartphones se han convertido en accesorios vitales y han cambiado la manera de vivir, de informar y de comunicarse,
aunque no siempre se los utiliza de manera eficaz para el aprendizaje de contenidos científicos e ingenieriles. El equipo de investigación
que presenta este artículo advirtió la necesidad de poner en práctica algunas metodologías utilizando los dispositivos móviles para lograr
aprendizajes significativos y generar algunas competencias en estudiantes universitarios de primer año de Ingeniería Química de la
Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales, de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, y del último año del preuniversitario del
Colegio Nacional de Monserrat, contribuyendo al incentivo de vocaciones relacionadas a la ingeniería. En este artículo se presenta la
metodología desarrollada para construir los paquetes de materiales didácticos y el diseño y la construcción de esos materiales
conformados por guías de estudio, videos animados científicos, clases grabadas, blog y bibliografías conectadas a través de códigos QR,
y una App especialmente diseñada a los que se accede desde los smartphones.
—Smartphones have become vital accessories which have changed dramatically our way of living, informing and communicating, although they are not always used effectively to learn scientific and engineering content. The research team that presents this article warned the need to implement some methodologies using mobile devices to achieve meaningful learning and generate some competencies in freshman university students of Chemical Engineering who attend to the Faculty of Exact Physical and Natural Sciences of the National University of Córdoba (UNC) and others from last year of the pre-university of the Monserrat’s National School, contributing to the incentive of vocations related to engineering. This article presents the methodology developed to construct the teaching material package and its design and construction. These materials are composed of study guides, scientific animated videos, recorded classes, blog and bibliographies which are all connected through QR codes, and an App specially designed to be accessed from smartphones.
