    Proposed Solution for Random Characteristics of Aluminium Alloy Wire Rods Due to the Natural Aging

    In the last 50 years in the worldwide market for power transmission cables, there has been a tendency to replace aluminium cables electrical grade (EC) with steel cables by fully aluminium alloy (AAAC). The advantage in using cable AAAC is mainly economic (least amount of support structures and maintenance), addition to the elimination of the problems of galvanic corrosion and improved abrasion resistance. In order to obtain better mechanical properties, respect to the pure aluminium, aluminium alloyed with magnesium and silicon (AA6XXX series) is used, which by a combination of cold working and heat treatment allows obtaining greater mechanical strength without affecting too much the electrical conductivity. In this development it has worked with AA6101/6101 M alloy. The manufacturing of aluminium alloy wire rods for such applications, using the conventional process Properzi, requires heat treatment of solubilized, continuous or discontinuous (batch). During the waiting time of two months or more, the wire coils are exposed to natural aging at room temperature, entering into the wiredrawing machines with different mechanical properties. The wires obtained by the traditional method of manufacture in Argentina, through the wiredrawing, result in significantly higher mechanical properties, not complying with the standards. Furthermore many breaks occur mainly when a high tensile strength wire is processed for wire 2 mm in diameter or less. In the proposed method, a part of the initial wiredrawing is replaced by cold rolling and a subsequent partial aging. The results obtained in this study allow us to conclude that in the proposed process better properties and mechanical integrity are achieved than the traditional process, maintaining the electrical conductivity.

    Thermomechanical Processing of Alloys. Case of Study Ti Gr. 4

    Titanium alloys are characterized by great versatility arising from the ability to obtain a wide spectrum of properties by controlling the alloying elements and thermo-mechanical treatments that determine the microstructure. The determining factors for the workability of titanium alloys are related to the structure of the alpha phase (HCP) and the strong dependence of the alpha and beta phases on processing variables such as temperature, strain and strain rate. Therefore, proper selection and control of these parameters in each deformation step is critical to obtain an optimum combination of mechanical properties and microstructure of the final product. The tested material is titanium commercially pure (Ti CP (Ti Gr4)), which despite being an alpha alloy, it is seen that small amounts of iron can change the microstructural evolution of the alloy.

    Universidad y Territorio: Restablecimiento del sentido Identitario Colectivo. Una contribución desde la praxis interdisciplinar (arte, comunicación y derecho) con perspectiva de género

    En esta ponencia haremos foco en uno de los factores de conversión: las limitaciones sociales atravesadas por cuestiones vinculadas al género, indagar algunos de los aspectos instalados en la comunidad que coartan el desarrollo de las capacidades y en paralelo, plantear la necesidad de proveer de herramientas conceptuales indispensables a los Profesionales docentes en Artes y en Comunicación para su formación. Cuestiones relativas a la relación Universidad – Comunidad, arte, política y cultura, sujeto político e identitario colectivo se comprenden desde la relación investigación – extensión, dos funciones claves de la Universidad Pública Argentina. A partir de las investigaciones anteriores y especialmente la titulada “Investigación – Extensión: de actores sociales a sujetos políticos. Formación del estudiante universitario hacia un paradigma identitario colectivo”, surgieron nuevos interrogantes. Las conclusiones alcanzadas desde el relevamiento realizado (entrevistas interinstitucionales, encuestas a los destinatarios, etc) plantearon la necesidad de indagar ciertas zonas de vacancia, aún no suficientemente visibilizadas, en especial, desde el saber artístico-comunicacional sistematizado. La relación Universidad /Territorio en ámbitos tales como la escuela y / o centros no formales educativos, visibilizó conflictos y demandas que atraviesan la praxis artística y el rol del discurso estético y comunicacional, en un mundo tan violento y violentado. La intervención y construcción colectiva de sujetos políticos y referentes institucionales comunitarios desde el campo del arte, la comunicación y el derecho, contextualiza problemáticas que atraviesan este 2019 hacia años venideros generando una necesaria interdependencia disciplinar para operar en y con el territorio próximo.
